Privacy Policy — GlazeRun: Voice GPS Coach

Effective Date: November 7, 2026

1. Overview

GlazeRun ("we", "our", or "the App") is a minimalist running companion and voice GPS coach for Android. We respect your privacy and design GlazeRun so that your workout and location data remain on your device.

2. Location Data (Foreground & Background GPS)

• Why we request location permissions: GlazeRun uses precise device GPS (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION / ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION) solely during active workouts to calculate your running distance, detect stationary auto-pause, detect active walking recovery, and trigger distance-based voice coaching cues—even when your phone screen is locked or in your pocket.
• On-device processing only: Your GPS coordinates are processed in real time in your device's memory and are never uploaded to external servers, stored in cloud databases, or shared with third parties.

3. Audio & Media Playback

All 480 coaching audio cues are pre-rendered and bundled offline inside the application. GlazeRun uses Android foreground media playback and audio focus ducking to play voice coaching cues smoothly over your background music.

4. Analytics & Beta Tester Signups

• Anonymous App Telemetry: The app may record anonymous usage events (such as workout start/completion counts and selected coach persona) to help improve app stability. No personally identifiable information or GPS coordinates are included.
• Beta Tester Email Form: If you voluntarily submit your email on app.opensrc.mx to join the Google Play Closed Beta, your email is used solely to add you to the Google Play testing track.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third parties. GlazeRun contains zero third-party advertising SDKs.
